Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is relishing the opportunity of meeting overseas supporters as he joins Arsenal squad for the trip to Far East.
The England international will be joining the squad for the pre-season tour to Asia for matches, training sessions and events in Malaysia, China and Hong Kong.
The 18-year-old has never been to Fast East and is looking forward to gather some experience and fitness during this trip.
The Englishman is amazed by Arsenal’s popularity and global reach and is willing to give his best shot in the pre-seasons. He is also hoping to enjoy some good time with the team in this tour.
“You have people from Malaysia, South Africa, America and Australia all supporting Arsenal and it makes you realise how big a club this is.” – Oxlade-Chamberlain told Arsenal Player.
He further added: ““It’s amazing to think of fans on the other side of the world supporting the Club so much. It will be really nice to go out there and connect with them.
“I’ve heard about last year’s trip and I’ve been told the fans are so enthusiastic and really love the Club and the players. They give a lot to the Club and to the players, so it is nice to give something back to them.”
