Andrey Arshavin could finally be on his way out of the Emirates

Fulham are looking to provide Russian superstar Andrey Arshavin an escape route from Arsenal as the winger is told by the Gunners to find other employers in the forthcoming season.

The player himself is reluctant to stay but may find his position at the club precarious after the summer arrivals of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud and is slowly resigning to the fact that he is seen as a surplus to the requirement at the Emirates.

The Russian with a moniker Shava joined Arsenal in the January transfer window of 2009 took Premier League by storm earning the fan’s vote of becoming the second best player of the season for Arsenal despite playing only half of the season. However over the last two seasons his form and fitness has dipped sharply which resulted in losing his first team guaranteed place.

He was loaned to his boyhood club Zenith St Petersburg with seconds remaining before the end of Russian deadline day last season, where his impressive performance earned him a Russian first team call up during the Euro 2012.
Zenith are willing to bring their prodigal son back to the club but the 31-year-old who is expecting a baby in few months is looking to stay in London.

Fulham are ready to make the best use of opportunity and can get him for only £1m as the player has only one year remaining in his contract, though he may have to accept a pay-cut on his £80,000-a-week wage.

Unfortunately wenger/board don’t care about winning anything anymore, so why should the players? Again, Arshavin and rvp leaving and replaced by inferior players.

Unfortunately wenger has wasted another player.

I think its ludicrous to say arsene has lost the will to win or he’s wasted another player? Who were these players, rvp and arshavin, before they came to Arsenal through Wenger who made the world take notice of these players? Same, nasri, fabregas, Henry etc get real haters
