Arsenal boss will leave it late in move for Villa!

With news that Barcelona striker David Villa has told the Spanish team he would like a move in the next few days, there has been reports in the media today which have suggested Arsenal to try to land him at the end of the transfer window for as little as they possibly can.

Boss Arsene Wenger is apparently an admirer of the Spanish striker and has hinted that most of his business will be the final days of this window, as that is when the best deals are on offer.

And considering they could acquire his services for a fee of around £10 million, it wouldn’t be a bad acquisition if we managed to pull it off. And add that to the rumours he is ready to force his way out to get what he wants, the Sun have reported Wenger is going to make his move in the last 48 hours of the window.

However, the big stumbling block could be his massive wages as he is on well over a £100,000-a-week at the Nou Camp and may be very reluctant to take any sort of pay-cut.

Wenger has stated he is working hard to bring in new signings during this window and we will see just how much effort he is actually putting into that in just over a weeks’ time.

if we can ve davidvilla in our team it’ll be such a delight but the QUE is will barca release him cz we’ve heard 4RM a source that puyol told david that it’s better for him to be on the bench at barca than be a startingeleven in another club so if david wnts to go by that he wldn’t come 2 arsenal but let’s C for ow long ll he be able 2 hold on another QUE is will he be able 2 cope with the rigours of Premiership is better 4 wenger 2 let him come to arsenal 1st on loan so that he can be properly acessed

  • Who said “acquire his services for a fee of around £10 million” what is your source for this?

    More speculation.

If Wenger can’t see the writing on the wall and is not prepared to spend on David Villa who is one of the best players in the world he should be shot!

In terms of talent Villa is a million miles away from ANY player on the current Arsenal team.

Wenger hasn’t made a good transfer since Dein left, I see it was Dean we should have been putting faith in and not Wenger.

    Wenger out now please!

When other teams wasted no time to strengthen, arsene wenger is still wasting time…AND the team is losing points.

He is miles better than Walcott who is on £100k at the Emirates!
