As an Arsenal fan we have come to expect that our very best players are there for the world to make a move and although Jack Wilshere has stated his desire to stay and win things at the Gunners, it will not stop clubs offering massive amounts of money for his services.
The lad has been in fantastic form since his return from injury and looks even better than he did when he burst onto the scene.
His performance in the England friendly against Brazil showed the world Neymar isn’t just the next big thing in football, as Wilshere outshone him and everyone else on the pitch.
But as he continues to impress everyone this season, there could be a massive offer in the summer from one of the Europe’s best club. And since the our board are more about money than success, I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to cash in on the maestro.
He has just signed a new contract, but as we have seen in previous seasons that if a club receive an offer they cannot refuse, they will say bye and spend the money on his replacement, Or in our case, save the money for a rainy day.
The board would be foolish to let him go, but when has that ever stopped them doing business?

I dont think whilshere would go I truely belive he has arsenal and only arsenal at heart. I can see many top top teams offering money for him but he will just say not intrested thanks anyway. I can see him being like Steven Gerrard for liverpool or scholes for united. We have a great team which on there day can compete with any1 we have shown slow starts and lack of confidence but not jack, even at his age he is staring every1 in the face taking the tackles and giving them back and still saying FUCK U we will not b beat. At times I wonder whether these sites are by arsenal fans and also whether the so called fans are real arsenal fans. You want to make a speculation out of nothing and another deluded arsenal fans just pops up to draw imaginary parallels.
It is a fact that Wilshire signed a contract extension less three months ago. There is no evidence to show that arsenal sell players if huge offers come by.
Of all the star players that were sold, it was not because the club had received irresistible offers but because either the players expressed their desire to go or they refused to sign contract extensions, with a year remaining on their contracts. The former category includes Song, Hleb and Fabrigas, whilst the latter category includes Nasri, Clichy and Van Persie.
There are other players who were sold whilst in their prime because of compatibility issues. Players that come to mind are Adebayor and Toure. The former was a dressing room nuisance whilst the latter had irreconcilable differences with another player Gallas.
Another unlikely player who was sold because of incompatibility issues was Viera. Four years ago Wenger explained that when Fabrigas broke into the first team, the manager noted that the combination of Fabrigas and Viera was not working but the combinations of Fabrigas-Gilberto and Viera-Gilberto worked. So what that meant was he would rotate Fabrigas and Viera to play along Gilberto. He then feared that Fabrigas was likely to get frustrated because of lack of game time. To solve the problem he had to sell Viera.
So when looks at all the players sold by Arsenal in the past 10 years or so, none of the players was sold because the club had received irresistible offers.

Though doubtless there will be offers, there’s no reason whatever to expect Wilshere to be sold. The players whose names you invoke wanted to leave. There’s no indication that Wilshere wants a move.

Those who criticize the writer of this article have very short memories and have not realized the kind of money minded individuals we have at Arsenal. It is a matter of time before Man City, Barca,etc come calling. After resistance for one season,the club will allow Wilshere to go for the sake of huge cash offered.
