Arsenal look to quality German winger to strengthen side

Reports coming from Germany seem to indicate that Arsenal are one of several European clubs who are tracking the qualities and services of German international winger Marko Marin, who is currently playing in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, although reports do suggest that fellow Premiership club Liverpool are also closely following the 22 year old winger, and it is said that Inter Milan are already closely monitoring him with a view to signing in the summer.

Marko Marin has been cited as one of the most prolific players currently in Germany, and for me would be a better and slightly cheaper alternative than that of Borrusia Dortmund’s highly rated Mario Gotze and a better alternative to Lille’s Eden Hazard at half the price, Marin has been likened to that of Luka Modric in his style and tenacity and is currently contracted with his club Werder until 2013 but reports are seeming to suggest that he will leave before that time.

For me this is a player who really is all that is said about him, and one that I would hope the club do all in their power to sign, he would be a better alternative than Gervinho or Arshavin for me, and a more clinical finisher, he fee is rumoured to be around the £16 million mark and for me would be £16 million well spent
