Arsenal need to snap up Ba after he hints at a move!

With the club looking to bring in a new striker in the January transfer window, there had been reports that we were monitoring the situation at Newcastle United as Demba Ba has refused to sign a new contract at the club and it seems that we have moved a step closer to acquiring his services after the player has come out and stated it would be a dream to play for our club.

The big, powerful striker is enjoying a brilliant season and has already got eleven goals to his name in the Premier League, which puts him up there with the top-scorers.

However, he has been in the media lately with his wages demands and has been asking for more than Newcastle are willing to offer. Which means that we may step in and pay the £7.5 million clause in his contract to try and bring him to the Emirates in a few weeks’ time.

As quoted in the Daily Mail, Ba spoke about a possible move to Arsenal and said: “I have nothing to say about those speculations [with Arsenal]. Nothing has happened.

“The media know Arsenal need another striker and they know about my release clause. They need to make their own mind up about it.

“Arsenal are one of those teams who makes you dream.’

It seems Ba has left the door wide open for us to go and make an offer, but the only stumbling block would be his wages. As we would be very reluctant to pay the £90,000-a-week that he is looking for.

However, he would be a welcome addition to the squad wouldn’t he? A proven goal-scorer in the Premier League with the kind of ability that would suit us at the Gunners.

He is good £7.5m will be a cheap buy. Get him and buy another left winger.

we need him, but i don’t think AW can offer his wage demands.

we still need a DM and a more serious winger.
Wenger should also persuade Walcott and Sagna to sign.

He will be perfect player for arsenalfc

Agree on the points above asking for a winger, a left one please. Still confused as to why Wenger hasn’t tried Podolski up front?

Ba would find it very difficult at Arsenal – the way Wenger insists on playing. Most strikers would. Often with no support – isolated down the middle. Wenger only agrees to 433 with 2 men wide – who don’t cross well. Adebayor could do it as a target man … being big and fast and increasingly skilful. RVP could because he was sooo good. Giroud certainly can’t, nor can Gervinho. Ba beware …

An injury-prone player who thinks it might be a good idea to join the arsenal. looks like arsenes way of keeping someone like diaby, promoting arsenal as a save working inviroment, might start to pay off. i’d like to see ba join.

One thing I observe in arsenal situation is attackers and defensive, ba is a confidential and experience player but i don’t thnk he can make it T̲̣̣̥O̶̲̥̅̊ arsenal anticipation,we av different fast and sharp striker, like cavani of napoli, huntela of schaker04,falcao of althletico and ben alfa ,those Α̲̅я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ d kind of world class striker which arsenal need T̲̣̣̥O̶̲̥̅̊ lure in .
