Arsenal outcast dream of a move away from the Emirates fading away

Arsenal outcast Nicklas Bendtner’s dream move to AC Milan is drifting away as the Italian outfit are considering a move for Lyon star Bafetimbi Gomis.

The 24-year-old striker joined Arsenal in 2005 as a youngster with lots of promise but could only make 99 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals. Last season he was sent on loan to Sunderland where he scored eight league goals. However, after Black Cats manager has refused to make the move permanent his position at the club has come under huge suspicion.

The Danish international is expected to drop down the pecking orders in attacking line-up for Arsenal, and manager Wenger has publicly revealed that he has no future at The Emirates.

Milan, who are desperate to land up a striker before the transfer window closes, looked favourites to sign him but the deal now seemed to have been scuppered.

Instead, the Rossoneri are considering a move for France international Gomis, who has great goal scoring record for Lyon. The club believe it will be easier to make a deal for Gomis than to agree terms with Arsenal over the striker’s signature.
