First off, Talksport reckons that Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has snubbed Arsenal and has signed a pre contract agreement with AC Milan.
The Metro claims that Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala are set to beat both Arsenal and Chelsea to the signing of Blackburn Rovers Steven N’Zonzi.
Finally The Sun is saying that Italian side Roma will nick Fulham’s Clint Dempsey from under our noses,
The thing is this, I never thought any of those three players were going to join us, I always felt that it was just hot air and the usual daily gossip, so to be totally honest today’s gossip means absolutely nothing to me in any manner.
That said, Montolivo would have been a decent acquisition.

Dempsey was interesting arsenal but if we went for him it would have.beeen because we failed with our main target.
And nzonzi, well let’s just say that if he did end up at arsenal this summer it would indicate anothr awful tranfer window for arsenal as he is probably scraping the bottom of the barrell for our defensive midfielder targets.
