We have just tied up Theo Walcott’s contract at the club and were seemingly happy none of our first team would be leaving in the near future, but we all seemed to forget that Bacary Sagna has not agreed a new contract and has now hinted at a possible departure in the near future.
The right-back is unhappy about the club refusing to improve their offer of a one-year extension to his current contract of £60,000-a-week and add that to the fact he is not happy with the clubs policy of selling all their best players, it looks like he is considering his options.
As quoted in the Daily Express he said: “Honestly I am under contract with Arsenal, and I will see out my contract with the club.
“After that is a difficult question. Before leaving, because I will leave here one day, I would like to win something with my club
“I don’t want to answer yes or no now because in football you never know what will happen.”
Sagna has put in some dodgy performances since his return from injury and many are actually starting to question whether he is actually committed to the club.
And it seems we have our answer, as he hints at a possible move.
He has been linked with summer moves to PSG an Inter Milan in the last few weeks, and although he would be a big miss. We have already scouted around trying to find his replacement.
