Boss Arsene Wenger is looking to recruit a world-class stopper in the summer window and has identified a couple that he would like to bring in. But on the top of his shopping list Victor Valdes and he hopes to prise him away from Barcelona for just £9.9 million.
It is no secret that the Spaniard is on his way out of the Camp Nou and the Gunners could be his next destination as he seeks a fresh new challenge in his career.
He is rated as one of the world’s very best goalkeepers, I wouldn’t mind seeing him arrive at the club in the summer window.
And according to TuttoMercatoWeb. We are keen to secure his services and more to pay the asking price that Barca have put on his head.
However, a move for the man will all depend on us getting into the Champions League as he will not want to join a side that is playing in the less prestigious Europa League.
So when the window opens up, it will be very interesting to see who arrives and who leaves the club as there is going to be a lot of business being done by the club.
