For me this would be a real clutching of straws if the reports that are being said of this are true, it would seem that Arsene Wenger is looking at signing Blackburn Rovers Canadian midfielder Junior Holliet on a free transfer whom Liverpool are currently tracking as well.
Holliet is off contract in June and both clubs are keen to approach the player who could sign for free in the summer transfer window – yep sound’s like a Wenger deal to me really, despite all this talk of how much money majority shareholder Stan Kroenke is to give Arsene Wenger for strengthening in the summer transfer window after yet another disappointing season for the Gunners.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are urging Holliet’s representatives to hold off any decisions until the summer transfer window, although Junior Holliet can sign a pre contract with another club now if he chose to
