‘Arsenal may just shock everyone and challenge for the title’.
Erm, what? Shock everyone? Listen here, stupid media pundits, Arsenal were never outside favorites. Everyone has this stigma about us because we sell players that it inherently makes us weaker. As though, we never actually replace the Van Persie’s, Song’s or Fabregas’s. The truth is, we made all those player’s stars. Yes, they moved on but does that mean that we can’t recreate any new stars. In fact, I’m happy to see those players go, because now we’ll be the first ones to see new royal blood in the football world.
We were never going to shock anyone because it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we challenging for the title. We are the Gunners after all, aren’t we? We’ve always excelled, even when the odds were against us. Even with players out and no inspiration, we’ve always managed to succeed and compete for the top. Chelsea has had to pump in money just to stay competitive at the top. Liverpool is now trying to do the same. Man City isn’t actually a club anymore. It’s like they playing the game with a cheat code that gives them infinite cash. What’s the point? The only other team who can hold a finger to us and our heritage is Man U and they’re really the only team I absolutely love to thrash.
This season won’t be easy but we will come out on top. We have an array of players in squad that are just bursting to perform. You can feel the intensity when we walk on the pitch. You can feel that you’re part of something great, something classic. This season, we’re not shocking anyone. We’re taking what’s rightfully ours.
