Arsenal youngster keen to go out on loan and then return a better player

Arsenal’s young winger, Sanchez Watt has revealed that he would be ready to leave the Gunners on loan again if the deal would benefit his career. The starlet has spent the last two years on loan with Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday, and says that both clubs helped him develop into a more mature player. The winger has stated that he will seek to ensure that his next spell aims to give him more playing time in order to improve as a player so that he may break into the Arsenal first team.

“I want to go somewhere where I’m learning from it. If the deal’s right, my agents and Arsene Wenger will tell me.I’m waiting for the right club,” he told Arsenal’s official website.

‘Last season’s loan spells were about maturing. You’ve got to work hard for your place every week. You’re on your own. You have to grow up.’

“We were fighting for promotion and every game and training session was vital. You always had to be switched on. It was good for me.”

Watt has had an impressive start to the season and has scored four goals for Arsenal’s youth side so far. Despite never having appeared for the Gunners’ first team, Watt will be hoping for a call up by the Gunners against Coventry in the League Cup next week.

“Anything can happen. I have to be ready,” he said. “I’ve got to keep playing like I could be picked for the next game. I’m going to keep working hard and see what happens.”
