Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner had admitted that his time at Arsenal has come to an end and will be desperate to leave the club this summer.
The Danish striker has made 112 appearances for the club after coming through the ranks at Arsenal, but due to lack of consistency couldn’t make up the grade as expected.
The 24-year-old is now desperate to leave the club after spending a season-long loan last season at Sunderland. However, manager Martin O’Neill was not interested to make the move permanent.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have lost their talismanic skipper Robin van Persie to Manchester United for £24m. But, despite his departure, Bendtner’s position is unsure, especially after the summer arrivals of German international Lukas Podolski and Frenchman Olivier Giroud.
He told Danish news site Sporten.dk: “I do not think about the money, I just want to be happy. I want to leave Arsenal.”
Italian outfit AC Milan had registered their interest especially after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint Germain, but in recent weeks it seemed to have frizzled out.
