If reports are true, it seems that Arsenal are one of three possible suitors for Paraguayan international striker Lucas Barrios, who is currently playing for German champions Borruisa Dortmund, is still in contract with the German champions until 2014 but is thought to want to play n the Premier League, the other two clubs linked with him are two other Premier League clubs.
Lucas Barrios has been at Borrusia Dortmund since 2009, and has made 75 appearances for the German Champions scoring 35 goals in that time, and has made 21 appearances for his national team of Paraguay,scoring six goals in that time since 2010.
According to the report, Sunderland and Manchester City are also monitoring the striker with a view to signing him, if he is to leave Borrusia Dortmund it would be for around £15 million, but it is thought that he is likely to remain with the German side until the end of this current season.
I have to admit, I don’t know much about this striker, his record seems decent enough, but will he be the kind of striker to fill the criteria of the club, from what I’ve read up on him the 27 year old forward, could be a good addition to the team
