Cazorla and Arsenal, a match up made in heaven

Cazorla is a perfect fit for Arsenal. He’s quick, creative and versatile, which are the exact qualities Wenger’s system needs. Already the Spainard has made huge leaps within the team, already cementing his position as Arsenal’s first choice attacking midfielder. Even four games into the season, it’s hard to spot a suitable replacement for the midfielder who has made life difficult for the likes of Ramsey and Rosicky to break into a starting position.

Cazorla plays in the midfield and is suited to an attacking role, but he can play just about anywhere. Whether it’s wide, central, forward, holding or anywhere in between, Cazorla can make it work. With his footskills and creativity, he fits perfectly with the other Arsenal players. Already this season, we’ve seen how important his link up play has been with the wings, especially Podolski. Every attacking movement comes from him. He feeds the ball perfectly forward, often running into holes and creating gaps in the opposition’s defensive line.

Cazorla is what Arsenal lacked so badly at times last season. With no one to replicate the Fabregas role, the midfield looked dull with the emphasis on Song to then take control and boss the midfield- a style not suited to the way Arsenal go about their game. It’s well-documented that the Gunners haven’t won a trophy since 2005. However, if Cazorla can continue to elevate his play, he could be the primary reason Arsenal ends that drought this season.

At a reported 15 million pounds, is Cazorla Arsenal’s buy of the season? He may just be the buy of the Premier League season if he continues to play as well as he’s done.

Brilliant summary of current buzz of Arsenal FC. Nowadays, every arsenal game is a feast of creativity all because of Carzola. The engine room in the likes of Arteta; Diaby and Podoski provide added finesse and power. The imminent return from injury of the KING of midfield- JACK WILSHERE will take us to heaven. Up gunners! Our time has come.
