There is a good chance that Marouane Chamakh will leave the Emirates on Friday, probably to either Turkish side Besiktas or Spanish outfit Malaga.
Chamakh has been an abysmal failure for Arsenal, he has failed to make any form of impression on or off the field and the general consensus among the fans is that he should go, though the probability is that he will only leave on a loan at this time.
Arsenal are now well stocked for strikers and there is no point paying wages and utilising resources on a player that will almost certainly not contribute anything meaningful, even if given another chance.
Chamakh came with great fanfare but will leave quietly and without fuss.

I don’t think it’s fair to say Chamakh is a failure when the fact is that he doesn’t fit into our system. A number of players have been used out of position, not given enough game time (unlike NB52) etc. We hate when some players leave or want to leave, but at the same time we overly criticize those who stay or want to stay and try to make things happen. Let’s go out and support our players who show love to our mighty club.
This was one purchase by Le Boss that I never understood. He’s a holding player and target man but not a goalscorer. He may have worked in a 4-4-2 alongside a predatory striker but as a lone striker it never made sense to me. His goalscoring record was poor in the French league so why would it be better in the Premiership ?
I still love d guy
Chamakh was doing well at Arsenal until the traitor (Rvp) came back from injury. We seem to forget so quickly.. He was even one of EPL’s highest goals scorers when RVP returned. The problem is the system Wenger plays, that can only accommodate one top striker. Lack of playing time has robbed him of so much confidence & sharpness in front of goal, even when he gets to play we don’t play to his strength like we did for RVP. All he needs is playing time.
Marouane Chamakh was in good form and had found his boots in his early days at Arsenal, but as soon as RVP came back wengar changed his mind and made him sit on the bench, unfortunate for Marouane Chamakh he was not allowed to play as much as wolcot played.he is a good striker and will surely shine in malaga.
