Arsene Wenger anticipates some movement in the Arsenal camp before the new season begins. The manager expects some arrivals but has refused to make a promise.
Wenger has kept himself busy in the transfer market and bought Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski early on in the summer to bolster the squad. Arsenal also lost Robin van Persie to Manchester United and Alex Song to Barcelona, two quality players in the same transfer window.
“Some things can still happen,” he said while speaking to the club’s official website.
“I don’t want make a promise that I cannot keep. It does not only depend on me. But there still could be some action on the transfer market – ins and outs.”
“We are working [in the market],” he added. “We’ll see what we can do.
Wenger admits last season was bit tough, but expects a better performance this term around. He is counting on the players who are due to return from injury and insists the current squad is “very strong” and “focussed”.
“We knew we had to buy [at this point] last season. We had lost Wilshere and Gibbs. We had just beaten Udinese in the Champions League but had just lost to Manchester United. This season is completely different. We have a good, stable, focused squad. We just have to show how good we are in the season.
“We have Diaby and Oxlade-Chamberlain back now while Rosicky and Wilshere are coming back. They are all international-stature players. I focus highly on that. If we get these players back in good shape then we have a very, very strong squad.

We need one defensive midfieder, one center back, chamberlain can play in the midfield but not as utility as song, song do play in the cntral of defence some time but aoc dosent have that quality which is height.
bring in mvila as fast as you can ‘coz time is running out. Get Jesus Navas as to bolster our attacking.
I strongly believe Arsene is right about the team been stronger than it was last season, but Wenger should bring in a replacement 4 Song with a player better or as good as he is that is the only way the team can progress. I can’t imagine depending on players like Fripong and Coquelyn that are not fully established in the main team, I know they have the potential but can’t wear Songs shoes now.Aside that the team is good enough to compete in all fronts. Go Arsenal go.
We also need to take a critical look at the defence am not very comfortable with young right back since Sagna is out with injury we need a stronger cover, even in the central defence because your reserve is usually d strenght of every team.

I think wenger need to do away with diaby,n get a better replacement for song n rvp,oplayer lik mvilla,tiote,pls wenger plash this cash n get us trophy this season.
