What’s with this guy? Its like watching a character from a soapie getting killed off, only that on TV it lasts about a minute and at Arsenal, it lasts for months. Theo Walcott has been in the news more times than a genocidal war. To make things less dramatic and even more tedious, it appears that a difference of £25k per week is the hold up on whether he chooses to leave us or play somewhere else.
Oh my god, if you want £100k then there’s the door, thanks and goodbye. Wenger has already told Walcott that £75k is all we prepared to offer. Wait, in case he’s reading this, ITS ALL WENGER IS GOING TO OFFER YOU. I like Walcott, I do, you may not believe me from reading this but I think he has the class to be an asset to a team, and apparently other teams see that potential in him too.
Juventus are one of those clubs that are eyeing up a bid for the winger come the January window and are reportedly willing to make a bid of £10million. Low if you ask me, considering we bought him for £12million. None the less, Wenger will take him lest he goes for free so, so far they’re the front runners for his signature and at the moment I’m just fed up with Walcott. He’s not playing games and when he does come on, he’s just average. What I hate most is that he’s sulking. Grow up. You want that £100k per week with Arsenal then you going to have to show it and he’s had seven seasons to prove his worth already!
What this means then, is that I don’t care what happens to Walcott. Like a father washing his hands from a spoilt child, Walcott can leave if he chooses. If he really wants to stay, then he needs to go out onto the pitch and show us he deserves the wages he’s demanding. If he does go, then Wenger must make certain of one thing, City or Liverpool can’t have him. Give him to Juventus for a lower fee. In the long run, it’ll be better. For now though, I hope ‘The Ox’ continues to dominate!
