Arsenal new boy Olivier Giroud has praised his compatriot Laurent Koscielny, claiming him as one of the best in the league.
The defender made an uneasy start to his Arsenal life when he joined in 2010 but over the last one year, he has improved considerably and established himself as a force in the team.
The 26-year-old, who recently signed a long term contract at the club made 64 appearances for the Gunners and has four league goals to his name.
Giroud knows him from the days when they used to play together for Ligue 2 side Tours. He praised Koscielny‘s leadership qualities on the pitch and insisted the French international will get even better.
“I’d say he’s one of the best in the Premier League,” the striker told Arsenal Player. “I think he can continue to [get even better].
“He’s very respectable and serious in his work. You can trust him, and his behaviour on the pitch is important. I like when a guy concentrates and is serious.
“He is like a leader on the pitch, by his behaviour. He is important for the national team now, and he is a very important player for Arsenal. He is a very good player and a very good guy.”

It not about knowing a good defender,he should improve his game.Giroud should train extra hard he still looks very light he needs to be stronger decisive on the ball and not be naive. He realize premiership is not the french league where he came from its not for lazy players but hard strikers.
Well spotted Olivier now go on and find the net.Koscielny is destined for big things. Top draw.
