While Arsenal’s new summer signings have more-or-less found their feet in the English Premier League, it’s time that the club must dispense with some of the fringe players in the January transfer window.
Arsene Wenger has been given a lump sum transfer budget to make the squad stronger in January. But before doing that he must get rid of some of the players who are deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
Andrey Arshavin: Seriously, anyone believes he should stay? The enigmatic Russian came with lots of promise but inconsistency is a demon that impeded him from becoming a great Arsenal player. Last season he was sent on loan to Zenith and this season has only made two league appearances. Arsenal can do better than paying his exorbitant wages for making appearances in Capital One Cup and FA Cup matches.
Andre Santos: The Brazilian recently stated that he would fight tooth and nail for a regular spot in the team. If his performance against Schalke was just the kind of example of the ‘fight’ he was talking about then its better give that chance to some young academy youngsters.
Marouane Chamakh: When a striker doesn’t get a game even in cup games that shows he has simply lost the trust of his manager. He came on a free transfer and can leave on a free transfer as well. I bet no one will shed a single drop of tear for him if he leaves.
Johan Djourou: The Swiss international is mainly seen as a team player. The 25-year-old without any ambition in his life has taken that role like an obedient son. Arsenal should find a better team player than him and secondly, with age at his side, the player must go elsewhere to get regular games.
Theo Walcott: Let me first tell you, I do want Walcott to stay. But, if his contract situation doesn’t improve, there’s no point in keeping him beyond the January transfer window. Take the dosh and invest on a better player would be advisable. Wenger must integrate young Serge Gnabry to the senior squad, if the rumours and hype about his talents are true.
And off course, there is Sebastian Squillaci…!!!

The great Arsene is now known for his talent at buying garbage , over paying them so no club wants them and bringing no trophies for many years to come.
Oh. And selling the best.
Ramsey ! Worst player on earth. So we play him every week !!
Well done Arsene ! Twat !
We still need arshavin,we need his experience, didn’t u watch d qpr game, Walcott is also needed
Arshavin is better than Gervinho on form and has to stay until we find another attacking player. Agree with Chamakh and Santos, they need to go. Djourou is a useful squad player. Walcott can leave for the right price but he must be replaced.
For me, the 6 players are Denilson, Bendtner, Squillaci, Chamakh, Santos, Park. All first-teamers on high wages with no future.
I cannot believe that you place djourou on the list ahead of squillaci? personally i would give walcott his chance up front against reading and united. 1 offside goal in 3 matches by our defensive midfielder has shown that in theos absence gervinho giroud and podolski do not warrant selection ahead of him on merit. also on your list should be fabianski who is in the same contract situation as walcott plus denilson bendtner and park. my list to go:
fabianski
squillaci
santos
denilson
arshavin
park
bendtner
chamakh
walcott (if he wont sign)
No way should Arsh leave before Gervinho. He is a great player and if his attitude is wrong then that is Wenger’s job to get that attitude right.
Santos & Djourou shouldn’t go either as they are good 2nd choice backups for their positions. Nobody should expect stand ins to be as good as the first choices.
Chamakh (and Bendtner) of course must go.
Diaby must go. At times brilliant (e.g. vs Liverpool) but far too erratic and a handful of games per season is a very poor investment.
Wallcott doesn’t have to go. If we can put the waste of space that is Gervinho down the middle then why not Theo as that is where he wants to play?
Oh and do we still have Squillachi knocking around? If so he needs to go too.
Walcott should stay..Let Gervinho go.Gervais brings confusion and slopiness with his lack of clarity..Let Ramsey go too..What is the point of turning around yourself endlessly?
Theo walcot is definitely going no where weather U̶̲̥̅̊ like it or not, AW will not sell him and don’t expect more then a single player in the january transfer window
How about one more “must sell”?
Arsene Wenger
Why have you left out the unreliable Rambo on the list?
