Ramsey isn’t someone who I thought would do well this season. He struggled last season to fill in what is now Cazorla’s position and looked out of depth at the start of the season playing in and midfield. Gradually though, Ramsey has improved with each game. It’s no surprise really as last season he really underperformed. The new season has brought the new Ramsey back into the fray and the Welsh captain has never looked more dangerous.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye with a series of high-energy performances so far this season, culminating in his superbly-taken strike against the Greek champions on Wednesday. It has never been easy for Ramsey. His leg break in 2010 stalled his career but slowly, he’s improved with every game to point where you feel that should he continue improving at this rate, he’ll be world class in no time.
“I had a really bad injury and it takes a while to get back to your best,” Ramsey said. “I’m feeling confident again and getting back to my old self, which got me here in the first place.
“Hopefully now this will kick me on again and I’ll keep on improving throughout the season. It’s always difficult to overcome things like [my injury] in life. A lot happened last year for me. There were loads of things going on off the pitch as well.’
“But I’m feeling good now, I’m happy and hopefully that’s showing in my performances.”
Ramsey should crack another start this season against West Ham and we’ll be looking for him to put in another top class performance that will see the Gunners’ through with all three points..

Rubbish article, rubbish player.
Well, i think Ramsey strike against Olympiakos was world class. However, how many of such performance can come from him? He blows hot and cold.though, he is a young lad who had a terrible injury back in 2010, but by now he should be on top of his game considering his potential. He should buckle up seriously because if he fails to do that, then he has fit again Wishere to contend with.
