It should be a relative easy game tonight against a team that is far superior to us in every way, but boss Arsene Wenger still believes that we will need to be switched on form the start just in case Bradford City try and pull off some kind of upset.
We are heading to the Valley knowing that we have the quality to walk all over the opposition tonight and although they may put up a decent fight, we will be looking to reach the final four for the fifteenth time in this particular competition.
Wenger told Sky Sports: “We have to win the game in normal time. They have gained confidence in these types of competitions and confidence plays a big part in that. Hopefully we won’t need penalties.
“Bradford are a force in their league, they are a team who play very good football and very efficient as well.
“We take them very seriously. They are very efficient at set pieces, so we will have to be very strong on that.
“Valley Parade was a difficult place to go to when we played there in the Premier League. It is a passionate place with a very special atmosphere as well. “
This is a great opportunity for us to win this year’s Capital one Cup and we are strong favorites to take the crown, but though we are a much better team than Bradford, complacency could cost us and Wenger must make sure that every one of his players is up for the match, otherwise there will be a major upset tonight.
