What a joke as Arsenal get knocked out!

It was a disgraceful day to be a Gunner and the players must be ashamed of themselves as a poor Blackburn Rovers side showed up and turned us over 1-0 in the FA Cup.

The Gunners carved out a number of chances to take the lead but failed to make the breakthrough and were made to pay in the 72nd minute when Kazim-Richards pounced on a rebound to score for Rovers

Twenty shots at goal, seventy-two per cent possession and sixteen corners tell us that we dominated the game and should have blown the Championship side away without any trouble.

But as we all expected Arsene Wenger underestimated the lowly side and he decided to rest his key players and save them for the Champions League tie in midweek when our best chance of silverware is in the domestic cup.

It was a poor choice by the boss as he saw his side, who are fifth in the Premier League, get knocked out of a cup by a side that on paper shouldn’t be on the same pitch as us.

When is he going to get it through his stubborn head that he cannot do the job anymore, there is only one way at Arsenal and that is his way? And he is determined to prove that the way he plays the game will eventually be successful.

I love Arsenal and will always support the team, but it is an absolute joke that we have been knocked out today.

And it is time for a change, starting with the boss!

Monreal is impotent when going forward.

Diaby’s job is to delay the pass and let Blackburn to have the time to organise.

2 worst players on the pitch.

Its the price we pay for not really having a top quality squad. No matter whether you blame Arsene, the players or just think we were unlucky we lack leadership, lack 3-4 world class players and just don’t seem to be able to change our playing style when the opposition play deep and defensive. We will never make a sustainable challenge for the different cups and league until we have greater quality, depth and can play in different ways.

lack of intelligence infront of the goal still a major prob fr the club.you cannot play the same game to a defending team w/out changing tacticts and get good results.also Podolski shd have replaced giroud as he was doing nothing into the pitch.shame on wenger…

  • Thank GOD I WATCHED AND CRIED WAITING FOR NEXT SEASON. Becns Letter ‘B’ Bradford, Blackburn and Bayern?

What the hell u wenger doing ? Put off the most impressive rosicky who create chances but not the dump gerv and Diaby.this is a shame .we still playing old fashion football which pass around like fool when all the Blackburn player back to defend .there is no leadership in the team .the wining mentality ?! Oh gosh ! Even the manager vision is to secure the top four .not to win trophy .we have the 3rd generation of squad since the last trophy.we have al

  • I think it is time for mr. Wenger to leave it is a disastour after bradford and Blackburn big failure

  • Okey Onwuagha

If you expected anything different from you got today, you must have reasoned from your anus.

Wenger could have wrapped up this game by half time if he wasn’t so arrogant as to rest his best players, if they started they could have been rested at half time with the job done. Instead another easy exit from a domestic cup.Iam sure we’ll do well against munich on Tuesday but let’s be realistic throwing away the F A CUP was a bad tactical error AGAIN! winning the CL now that is dreaming

I love Arsenal. BUT, their poor performance is no surprise. Compare this team with past Arsenal teams! Look at every section of the team, Defence, Midfield, and Attack, and you will find players that are not good enough. In all businesses, the buck stops at the Boss. He should stop defending their poor performance and simply admit, some current players are just not good enough.

  • don

the buck starts from the head,we are a big club managed by the most predictable manager in the league.it doesn’t take a genius to know how arsenal thread their passes, just watching one of our games and i really mean it,not disrespecting AW,for it even doesn’t have to be this season’s’ game, you’ll successfully know how to stop arsenal.how also did you expect us to win the game yet, there isn’t competition for positions, you expect benched players, others who are very talented and don’t understand why they never play and a given an average of 1 game in 10 to perform? i’ve always said it,give fergie, mourinho, moyes this team, they’ll convert the same players to winners.a manager who cherishes 4th position as a trophy, degrades the players ambition and motivation since he lacks ambition for a big club and a winning mentality.people should start getting it,if they haden’t in their thick skulls,AW will never achieve again,he is a waste of time and a hell lot of money for arsenal, and shouldn’t be given the previledge to be at the club for another season as manager! sombody save us,real madrid! psg! please! we need that change urgently! it’s a shame to say that the most successful manager supposedly the club has ever had,has become our biggest hinderance to success! get rid of him with his arrogant attitude, let him go! free us from this agony!
