Manchester City starlet Abdisalam Ibrahim hopes to work with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger one day, amid speculation the Gunners are chasing his services
The Norway Under-21 international has attracted interest from us, Sunderland, Liverpool, Tottenham, West Bromwich and Swansea in the last few months.
He is highly-rated at City, but his first-team chances will be hugely restricted due to the clubs expensively-assembled squad.
The midfielder, who has been compared to Yaya Toure and Patrick Vieira, has 18 months left on his deal but the club are allowing him to move so he can play regular first-team football.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I’m very flattered to be linked with Arsenal, I grew up as an Arsenal fan and my hero was Patrick Vieira when he was playing there.
“I would be very honoured to play for Arsenal and it would be all my dreams come true to work with Arsene Wenger.”
Wenger is renowned for nurturing young talent and see’s the lad as an ideal talent to come in and turn into a superstar.
So Ibrahim would be best off make a move to London rather than his other prospective suitors in the summer window, if he leaves the Etihad.
